Spring
Grand Canyon Railway presents: National Train Day (May 8-9). Lots of train activities including special locomotive and caboose tours, model train layouts, entertainment. Enjoy a special running of the Cataract Creek Rambler Steam Engine. www.thetrain.com.
Bearizona Opens! (May 2010) The new Bearizona Wildlife Park is in Williams, and opens this month, log onto www.bearizona.com.
Rendezvous in Williams (Memorial Week-end/May 29-31) Original Buckskinners of Williams bring a Black Powder Shoot. Memorial Day parade in downtown Williams. 4-H barbeque 11am-1pm.
Summer
2010 Arizona State H.O.G. Rally (June 10-12) this state rally comes back to Williams after several years absence! Vendors, bike games, Poker Walk, live music. Contact chamber for more info
Northern AZ Wine Festival (June 19th) 20 wineries, 20 restaurants participating. Ft. Tuthill Fairgrounds in Flagstaff. (4-9 PM) Tickets $50.00 pp, Legacies can provide $25.00 per ticket if you lodge with us! Tickets available mid-April. 928-635-4880.
High Country War Birds Air Display (June 26th) Held at the Planes of Fame Air Museum 30 minutes north of Williams this air show will feature antique and war bird fly-bys by a P-51 Mustang, P-40, B-25 and the Ford Tri-motor along with craft and food vendors it’s fun for the whole family!! Gates open at 8 AM. Admission is $8 under 12 free. Call 928-635-1000
Small Town 4th of July- Enjoy a Rotary barbeque, ice cream social at Methodist Church, corn roast. Visit www.williamschamber.com for more info. It’s a celebration on July 4th and will feature one of the biggest parades in Northern Arizona -starting at 6pm.
Cowpunchers Reunion Rodeo: (July 30th – August 1st) real working cowboys get together and put on a big rodeo for themselves! An action packed event that is great fun to watch. Rodeo performances daily at 1 PM at the Bob Dean Rodeo Arena. Dance Friday and Saturday. Admission $5/ Kids 10 & under free. 928-853-6495

The Taste of Williams (August 7th)
Showcase of local restaurants, artists and wine distributors. Entertainment, food and fun. Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Contact the chamber.
13th Annual Cool Country Cruise-In 2010 -August 13th and 14th
This Classic Car Show with trophies given for various classes. This is a regional favorite with over 250 cars registered in 2009. There is no vendor participation for this event. To register your car visit: www.route66place.com
Labor Day Rodeo (Sept 4th and 5th) AZ Junior Rodeo Assoc sponsors its Junior Rodeo. Ages 5-18 competing. Admission $5 adults, $2 kids 12 and under. Call 928-635-1418.
