Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is a geological wonder, one of the Natural Seven Wonders of the World! Geologists suggest land erosion created this giant chasm, whose layers and strata are naturally “painted” in spectacular colors.
The south rim is open all year and one hour from Legacies B&B; the north rim is open May through mid-October.

Legacies is a logical lodging choice when visiting the Grand Canyon Skywalk (opened in March 2007). If you stop to visit the Skywalk coming form Las Vegas, book your lodging here. Or make this marvelous attraction just one site to see while staying at Legacies B&B. The Skywalk is a great one day excursion, and part of the drive is on Historic Route 66.

Town of Jerome

Enjoy an adventurous drive to this historic mining town, an up hill road that winds and meanders and offers panoramic views of the Verde Valley below. It was once a ghost town, but now restaurants provide tasteful meals and the gift shops are unique and upscale. Don’t miss the Douglas Mansion Museum while there.
It’s a 60- mile drive from Williams.

Sedona

The drive is breathtaking on 89A towards Sedona, and half way to Sedona is an
over-look with panoramic views of Oak Creek Canyon. Driving 20 minutes more you will find Slide Rock Park-a fun filled natural water chute! It’s a little more than an hour’s drive to Sedona, “Red Rock Country”, from Legacies B&B.
